Teal and Red

This week has been AWESOME! I've been in Arizona spending time with my sister and her family. We've gotten a lot done and had so much fun doing it! It's been very educational for me as well - I've learned new recipes, painted walls, decorated, and seen what it's really like to be a full-time mom. Holy cow, it's hard work. It's made me so anxious to be a mother myself though, I seriously can't wait!

So, my sister has got me hooked on this new website, Pintrest.com It's seriously amazing... and incredibly addictive - so be careful! I love looking at other people's ideas for decorating and photography - it inspires me to be so much more crafty and stylish :D

Anyways... I realized my love for teal and red is a lot bigger than I thought. I can't get over it! I love the two colors together in pretty much everything! I really want these converse. Badly.

I really should be doing homework...

Eh... I've been staring at my power point on China floods for about 20 minutes now and I still can't bring myself to do more research. I suppose according to most LDS women ages 19-35, blogging is the number one cure...

This past month has literally flown by. My life has completely flipped upside down... or should I say right side up :D I am incredibly grateful for every single change that has come into my life. God really does know me personally and has a plan for my future. You couldn't find a happier girl that's for sure.

Late night talks with roommates, walks with Bryant, phone calls home, skyping my nephews - I've realized the reason I am so happy is my relationships with the people I love. I look up to my friends and family so much, I have always been so blessed to be around amazing people.

It's About Time...

It's been far too long since I've posted anything. Apologies. Life has been crazy. Crazy good! The month of April has brought me much happiness...
- Start of a new semester at BYU-Idaho! New apartment, new roommates = Amazing
- 1964 Tribute show to the Beatles
- I was a bridesmaid at Taylor's wedding
- Frozen yogurt!
- Preach My Gospel studies
- Family Pictures
- Exercise plans
- Short hair

No need to bore the audience here... I love life! Lots of challenges ahead, but I am grateful for my testimony and strength in the Savior. He guides me every day.

:D

It's been a while. Life is great. Life is hard. I've never been happier. My testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints makes me so incredibly happy. I don't fear anymore, well uhh yes I do... spiders pretty much scare the heck out of me. But the fear is different. I have complete trust in my Savior, I would give him my life any day. I've been having numerous missionary experiences at work, sharing what I can with coworkers who don't know about this amazing gospel that changes lives. Nothing brings more happiness than sharing this gospel, even if you're sharing it with a simple smile. It's amazing, I wish I could explain it better. Life passes us quickly, if we don't stop and look around once in a while, we could miss it... Anyways, my life is in no way easy - but I am living it and loving it.

It's as Simple as This.

God is real. And he does bring peace. When we ask, he answers. I know my Heavenly Father lives today. Life is hard, but I know it's possible. I am so thankful for the temple. I feel reassurance and peace every time I am there. The Plan of Salvation is God's plan, it's true. It's all true.

So I've been told I need to update my blog. It's true... I'm pretty much enjoying every part of life right now. I am so incredibly blessed to have a great job/internship. I am learning so much and gaining a lot of good relationships with people. The days are long and hard, which is exactly how they are supposed to be. Business is definitely my field of interest :) It's been great being off-track from school this semester in the sun and warmth. I can only take Idaho in small portions.. although I do miss it a lot! I love California, the beach is beautiful and I have great friends here. One of my best friends is leaving on a mission in less than a month, it's gonna be quite hard to say goodbye to that guy! He's a great example to me, and I've learned a lot from him! The gospel is so important and needs to be spread throughout the world. We all need the truth, I'm not sure how I would get along in this world without knowing that my Heavenly Father loves me... what a blessing. Anyway, I'm doing great and loving life... just trying to keep my head on straight while making the biggest decisions of my life.
